Jack is a 18 year old, blue roan Quarter Horse He is a big gentle giant who is exceptionally sweet, kind and loving.  He is adored by RBER volunteers and considered to have “Chocolate Labrador qualities”.  Jack loves people, he is very sociable, enjoys leisure walks and sunbaths.  He has impeccable manners and is gentle enough for inexperienced handlers or children. Lily is an affectionate 4 year old, bay 16.1 ½ TB Mare She is well started under saddle and has an understanding of the basics.  Lily tries to please and is very willing; she is responsive to leg yields and demonstrates sensibility and a reasonable temperament both under saddle and on the ground.  “Lily the Filly” is described by RBER volunteers as loving, sweet and of good character.  She is considered to be a not too difficult project for someone who is wanting a partner. About Gemma Gemma is a Huntington Beach resident, wife, mother of 5 and a personal trainer.  She volunteers with multiple horses 7 days a week. What Gemma says about being a RBER volunteer: Our horses come to us in pain. You can see in their eyes the horrible abuse and neglect they’ve suffered.
