Cash is a beautiful mahogany brown 16 hh thoroughbred gelding. Due to a life time of abuse he is no longer rideable but has a wonderful attitude and a great disposition.
First abandoned starving and hurt, then tied to a tree by the homeless who inhabit a dry riverbed in the inland empire. We were able to save Cash from certain death, in addition to being malnourished and suffering from serious neglect he was also severely abused. With open and infected lacerations to his withers, deep tissue and bone bruising, Cash is also suffering from painful rope burns to both of his rear pasterns. Having been examined and treated by Dr. Wanner, Cash is on antibiotics and medication for his pain. We are grateful to have him safe and sound…..we can’t wait to see him thrive!
