There are those people who choose to get involved…because they care, because they can, because they are committed to the welfare and safety of animals, and because they love horses that much. Red Bucket was founded because we will not turn our backs, we can’t, because we know. Our organization is built with the individual hearts and hands that collectively form a community…a family of the devoted and committed. Olivia and her mother contacted us about Prinze at a time when we were full, under-funded and stretched. They made a compelling case for him, stayed engaged, and contributed in helping us to say yes. Today that marvelous, kind and deserving horse went home…forever. While we all share tears of loss and celebration, Jodi is welling up with joy as she welcomes her horse into her family, and into the second chance that Olivia and her family helped to secure. We are still full, under-funded, and stretched. We will also continue to save and serve deserving and desperate horses. Thank you to all who help us help the horses.
