At Red Bucket we know that rescue is only the beginning. We also know that rescue is not enough, and in order to find our horses permanent, safe and loving homes it is incumbent on us to do the heavy lifting. This means giving our horses the time to heal physically and emotionally, truly assess them, and provide the necessary training in which to prepare them for a meaningful life and satisfying partnership with their new family. Behren came to us damaged, slaughter-bound, and having suffered an unspeakable betrayal. Today, he is relishing work, learning, and partnership. Truly the complete package of beauty, conformation, desire, and intelligence…..oh, and lest we be incomplete…Personality Plus!!!
