We don’t get it…how our American horses are under valued and over bred with no accountability. She is impeccably bred, her father a World Champion Halter horse, she…..a specimen of his work. Once they were done with her she was shipped off to a kill auction. Fortunately for our new 6 year old AQHA mare, a Good Samaritan purchased her, saving her from a horrific fate. Today, she is treasured, and undergoing training at Red Bucket. She has demonstrated the intelligence of her excellent breeding, fabulous conformation…just like her sire, and the sweetest nature, that makes us shudder to think of how she was exploited, and then discarded. This morning, she is enjoying a fresh pile of orchard, a thorough grooming, and a leisurely hand walk. Soon, she will know the security and safety of her forever home. Welcome Memphis!
