Dr. Adrienne Moore was honored at the Ruby Red Gala last Saturday. The three words that were used to encapsulate Dr. Moore’s tremendous value and contribution to Red Bucket were “She Gets It”. These words mean a lot to us, as so many fail to see what Dr. Moore clearly gets…the value for life, the importance of enrichment, and the sacrifice of saving and serving the previously abandoned, abused and forgotten. She also understands how difficult rescue is…..and that rescue is only the beginning. Dr. Moore demonstrates an uncanny empathy and a selfless dedication to helping us help the horses. Her gracious and unbelievable generosity extends beyond her healing hands and giving heart. Dr. Moore’s vet truck is always full to the brim with treats for the horses, paper goods, blankets and buckets from her clients (which are magically and meticulously cleaned) and much needed medicine and costly supplies for our horses. In yet another act of thoughtful generosity, Dr. Moore surprised us with beautiful trees and shrubs prior to our event in an effort to help us beautify our horses’ ranch. We are astounded and deeply appreciative of Adrienne’s loving kindness. Lest this post be incomplete, we would also say that Adrienne is Red Bucket, she is one of us…she is our family…our friend. She is also loved, treasured, and most deeply appreciated by the entire Red Bucket family. “She gets it”. Sometimes love extends beyond words…and that is certainly true in this case, but the words are true too.
