Quite the quintessential entertainer and clown at heart, Acteur LOVES attention

and has a very, “hey, hey, hey…look at me everyone” with his personality plus!

He is completely adored by all at Red Bucket! And…can he JUMP!

Meet the charming, intelligent and debonair Acteur, a beautiful grey warmblood

who squeaks his way into the hearts and funny bones of all who have met him!

“He is so smart that he is actually thinking ahead of us sometimes!” says

volunteer Jenon Mathes. Considered a well-mannered gentleman, this

accomplished grey horse has lived a vibrant show circuit career. He is superbroke,

and anyone can ride and feel safe on him. He is also one of the favorites

among the grooming team. “Acteur likes nothing more than being doted over,

even assisting in what brush he would prefer by grabbing it out of the tote bag

and offering it to his special person that day,” states Jenon.

“Acteur is at once both an amazingly trained show horse and a comedic

entertainer. He likes to create a fun atmosphere for the volunteers by showing off

his training…as in jumping! Some of his antics while at Red Bucket are his ability

to jump his way out of the paddock, sailing effortlessly ‘Over The Fence’ to obtain

greener pastures!” says Jenon.

Acteur is considered the resident comedian at Red Bucket. He is very interactive

with the volunteers and loves to talk! If he catches anyone in his line of vision or

glimpses them walking down the barn aisle, he strikes up a very loud “Acteur”

conversation. He has tons of personality, along with a craziness for donkeys. He

adores them and is also known as the “Great Red-Donk-ulous.” He loves to look

at them, smell and lick them!

Red Bucket has a reputation for making sure horses are re-homed with a

contract to protect them for life. Acteur is a privilege to ride and has benefitted

from great training and show experience. Red Bucket knows the right person

who will appreciate him for all of his many talents and qualities is out there ready

and waiting for the perfect mix and match of affability and humor. Acteur is a

gem…a true hidden treasure.
