Knox was not likely to give up his tenured position of “Feed Crew Supervisor” for just any new assignment! Knox has spent the last two years in the roomy corner stall of the mare motel, which is prime Red Bucket real estate, as it overlooks the feed room. Knox has, with great attentiveness, overseen both the morning and the evening red bucket preparation. From his vantage point, he has been active in the process, which has earned him payment of carrots…and when we have a surplus of cookies, more than his fair share of treats. During his off hours, he has been a member of the “Knuckle Head” herd which has a revolving membership of, yes, Knuckle Heads, as horses get adopted. The Knuckle Heads can be seen from English Road in their daily turnout, playing, running, grooming, and other various activities that make the Red Riding Hoods and passers-by stop in their tracks to laugh at the display of unruly, joyful horseplay. Knox has also gone to school….Red Bucket Charm Farm…where he was prepared for his next big role…family member! On Sunday, Knox departed from Red Bucket and made the journey to his new home in New Mexico. He was greeted by his new mom Susan, and his new girlfriend Duchess. Knox is happy to be home, and seems perfectly content with Duchess having a higher management position! Congratulations Susan, Paul, Duchess and Knox!
