While we maintain that the horse’s name IS very important, we have all been touched by Marigold’s reaction to Karen cheerfully calling out ” Boo Boo ” . Marigold who has been described as a little stand-offish by others, lights up…perks up…and literally beams when she hears Karen coming down the barn aisle….coming for her! All of our horses have a story, all of them have come from different shades of darkness. Marigold is no exception, as she has seen desperate days, survived starvation and rebounded from rejection. Today, she is celebrating having a last name, gaining a forever home,and getting use to the consistency of a friend who calls down the barn aisle…just for her! Did we mention that she will never be hungry…or alone again? Congratulations Karen and Marigold!
