He is the perfect horse…the complete package…a dream come true. We knew that we would not have him long…a 16-hand palomino Thoroughbred with 4 white socks and a white blaze. Beauty, the temperament of a gentleman and the training of a pro. Perhaps most endearing is his desire to please and a palpable craving for attention…grooming, patting, conversation….oh, and yes…he loves treats. Jax is a great reminder of the quality of… horses that need to be re-homed into second careers, and yes, new families. Jax hit the jackpot and went home with Julia and Mitch. His new life and his forever home were custom picked just for him; gentle, periodic trail rides ambling the scenic trails of his new neighborhood as a “husband horse” for Mitch, a companion to the family’s horse, and a treasured family member. His new “job description” involves lots of the attention that Jax so deeply craves in addition to grooming, patting…and an abundance of daily love. Congratulations to Jax…and congratulations to Julia and Mitch!
