There is a culture that exists that does not believe that animals can think or feel. This mindset has created an over abundance of mistreated, starving, and slaughter bound horses. As a result, rescues are full to the brim with the unwanted, the rejected, the betrayed. Cindy Lee and Tasha came to us as feral babies right out of the slaughter auction yard. Cindy Lee’s mother had already shipped….they were simply terrified. We were told by a rather famous horseman that they were too wild and mean to ever be trained. We beg to differ….we do not agree…and we will not turn our backs or our hearts. Both of our girls have successfully graduated from basic Red Bucket Charm Farm, they are docile, sweet, eager to please, and affectionate. We love them, they love each other, and….yes, they love us too. Many thanks for those of you who help us continue to help the horses!
