We have said good-bye, good job…and good life to our wonderful, feral mothers. We have been profoundly impacted by their story, strength, selflessness and wisdom. Their babies are now weanlings, and are adjusting beautifully to plenty of playtime…and just the right amount of Red Bucket “Charm Farm”. Their bond with one another has become strong; with the BFF’s McGarrah and Kami bunking together, and “little” Micah relying on the strength (albeit bossiness) of his stablemate Mathe to comfort him. Their lives will go on…as will their mothers’ lives…thanks to all of you who support our meaningful work. With every milestone, and every Mother’s Day, we will continue to keep present the reminder of the beautiful gifts of Darcy, Darla, Marlee and Angelica.
