He had been collected…along with 5 other ex race horses…for meat. When we rescued him, he was injured, starving and discarded. Today, he is valued and cherished. His proud mom Dena sent us a snippet of his first cross country event. Suffice it to say that we have goose bumps in spite of the warm temperature, lumps in our throats, and ……tears!
