It has been our experience that the most amazing compassion, sensitivity and kindness can be found in the formerly abused, abandoned and betrayed. Rescue animals know what it feels like to be unloved and rejected, and we find it quite amazing that part of their own recovery appears to be not to take…but rather to give…love, assurance, acceptance and hope to other formerly unwanted animals. Wyatt gently greets little Penelope and welcomes her to the world of the wanted…and to a family of her own.
