Cronin in her “big girl stall”

Our previously slaughter-bound fillies, Cronin and Keely, have just graduated to the “big girl stall”. Keely, our orphan, is just finishing her last bit of formula and Cronin (pictured) has celebrated her successful weaning from her lovely mother Leonie. They both have completed the first level of Red Bucket Charm Farm and nicely pick up their feet, lead like little ladies (unless Keely forgets…but only for a second) and display well-mannered and excellent social skills. The girls spend the day out in their little pasture; frolicking, grazing, and just being foals. They explore their new world, socialize with adjoining horses, and nap in the warmth of the sun. In the evening they come in to the security and safety of their large, cozy and well-bedded stall. On this adorable occasion, little Keely was gobbling up her Mares Match, while her very best friend (in the whole wide world) pooped out mid-bite, falling asleep in the middle of her dinner! We figure the picture says it all…but in case it doesn’t, we are so grateful to be able to save and serve our horses…and their precious babies!
