Tyler Konney, the Producer of Emma’s Chance, pulled a rabbit out of his hat Saturday evening during the 3rd annual Ruby Red Gala, or perhaps it was just magic….but it was definitely no illusion. With a full crowd and fellow Producer Barbara Greaves, Director/Writer Anna Elizabeth James, Camera Man (or Marvel) Michael Korbel, and the dazzling star power of the leading lady Greer Grammer who exudes a Grace Kelly style of old Hollywood graciousness and glamor, and the supreme…ly talented and down-to-earth great sport Missi Pyle who plays Susan Peirce, the crowd was treated to a sneak peek of the Emma’s Chance movie trailer. Words cannot express the the electric anticipation that preceded the opening shot which tantalized the audience with outstanding and awe-inspiring cinematography. The entire tented arena was silenced and spellbound several seconds after the credits rolled and then unanimously rose to a thundering standing ovation. Like the finest wine or the most scrumptious dessert, a small taste was not satisfying, and left the crowd craving and pleading for more. The only bad news about this much awaited movie will be the incredible long lines that we will all have to stand in when it is released in theaters in the spring of 2016. Special heartfelt thanks to the entire Emma’s Chance team who went to extraordinary efforts to make it possible for our generous supporters and guests to be the first in the world to preview the movie that will help to change the world’s view of rescued horses. We are very grateful.
