“The Girls” enjoy their daily enrichment with “Miss Sandy”. It sure is hard to believe that these adorable and ultra loving donkey’s use to be untouchable! Today we find them curious, affectionate, and down right charming…..a very long way from fearful, abused and threatened. They thoroughly enjoy being brushed, babied, and having daily visits from the Red Riding Hoods who bring daily treats, friendship, and a good bit of humor! Oftentimes it is the passive and consistent work that yields the most profound results. Petunia, Coco, Lizzie, Fern, TicTac, and Ginger Snap relish in the splendor of being safe, attended to, touched……and then proceed like clock work to stretch out on their sunny paddock and take a long siesta in the sun.
