They come to us shattered, starving, slaughter bound and alone. We give them a red bucket, a name, the gift of dignity and the promise of a future. Their adoptive parents give them a warm and loving home, continuos and consistent care….even joyful, grateful, and celebratory birthday parties to embrace another precious year with a horse that is no longer unwanted. While we realize that our horses may not really care if they have a birthday party…they sure do care that they have another birthday…and another…and another. Many thanks to our wonderful adopters and our supporters that make it possible to bring a horse a token cake, to kiss her nose. to make a fuss…..to make a difference.
