Sometimes a picture is worth 1,000 words, but not in this case. Merriweather is “cupcake cute” and just as sweet. This morning we moved our little charges out to a roomy and sunny paddock. Merriweather rolled joyfully so many times that Tinker Bell looked bewildered. Melvin Reynolds, (and his amazing team ) who have Saint status in our book spent their Sunday helping us with our intakes, trimming months…and inches of neglect off of our new charges feet. Gemma spent an hour of TLC, product, and elbow grease grooming Merriweather and painstakingly detangling her mane. The very instant that Gemma removed the halter, Merriweather dropped to the ground and rolled again! No worries, these two darling mini’s are safe and sound…..and demonstrating their gratitude in other ways, as for us….we are grateful to be able to help them.
