Now we REALLY don’t get it! How could an absolute dream of a horse…a really super duper rock solid citizen fall into the homeless and “unwanted” category? Meet Knox, he is a pretty special character. He is an (almost ) 15 hand mustang cross who loves to cuddle and loves loves loves to be cuddled and doted on. He is one of those fellas who can say a whole heck of a lot with their eyes….and his are kind, soft and pleading. He is an old school kind of mount…super broke, definitely expecting to have someone all over his face and hanging heavily  on his mouth.  We are choosing a soft bit and soft hand in order to remind him that rides are fun! He is an absolute delight of a horse who seems to approach people with a ton of hopefulness but zero expectations.

We have made it our goal to surprise and delight him daily with kindness and marvelous little acts of gentle surprises, and treats!! Did we mention…He really loves treats? We intend to give him a lot…we don’t expect for him to be with us for long. Knox would really love to go home for the holidays……..
