He was found wandering the streets of Riverside, homeless, hungry…and lonely. Unlike so many donkey’s, he didn’t carry the swagger of self-determination or an air of entitlement. He cheerfully went w…ith the Animal Control Officer, pleasantly loaded in the trailer, and seemed thankful to have dinner that night. This morning, he greeted us with gusto, and tried to seduce us into his cozy stall for a cuddle and a scratch. He is absolutely the most precious and agreeable donkey that we have ever met. Thursday he will be gelded….and this super cute donkey, complete with bangs will be well onto his way, interviewing potential new forever families. Welcome Waffles!
