Our horses come to us victims of unspeakable abuse and devastating circumstances. It has been nearly a year since we climbed down a steep embankment to rescue three trapped horses who were reported to be without food and water for three days, our anonymous caller had been trying in vain to get help for the horses, and then called Red Bucket, we were on our way with our trailer within 30 minutes of getting the call. The very talented David Ben Tyson, who was so moved by our beautiful work wrote the inspirational song Second Chance, which can be purchased on iTunes, David donates portions of the proceeds to help us help the horses! Today, Charity, Hope, and Faith have returned to Red Bucket after 9 months in pasture of healing and learning to be horses again. The horses are healthy, lustrous, and ready for their second chance and are currently receiving training in order to be placed in forever homes.
